What happened to Pinterest? Will it survive?

Pinterest used to be an awesome website. It was cutting edge and it was cool. 

Apparently there is over 175 million active users in the US alone and 320 million worldwide. Over 80 percent of its user base are female.

It is listed on the stock market and valued at 11.4 billion USD. 

However over the past few years it certainly seems to be in decline. For me personally its much more difficult to SEO my images on pinterest. 

There is sometimes a " like " button available and sometimes not. 

Removing the like buttons seemed to kill of a lot of the buzz. It seems like all the buzz and fun is gone out of the platform. 

I still use it and upload to it but the platform has a empty library feel to it now. 

I hope it does survive and even thrive. It also is a much more grown up and responsible platform.

From what I can tell there isn't the kind of shocking or bad content here that you may see on Facebook, instagram or TiKToK.
